Carole lives and works in derbyshire, planting living willow sculptures and structures in the winter, and making wildwood chairs, tables and baskets in the summer never happier than when outside in the beautiful woodlands around her home, she has created a range of chairs and tables which allow us to bring a little of that magic home.

Hazel
Celtic wisdom associates hazelnuts with concentrated wisdom and poetic inspiration. There is an ancient tale that tells of nine hazel trees which grew around a sacred pool, dropping nuts into the water. The nuts were eaten by salmon which thereby absorbed the wisdom.

Adorning the hair with Wishing Caps, made of interwoven Hazel twigs is a custom followed in many countries. It was thought that if a person made a wish whilst wearing a wishing cap the wish would be fulfilled.
